Background
Joshua and his older sister Rosette were raised in an orphanage as children, neither knowing of their parents, who were pureblooded wizards. A member from the Ministry of Magic had been inquiring lately about adopting him, seeing as he had shown various accounts of his magic over the years accidently, and because he was 'special' - he could heal others with or without a wand, but with his powers he couldn't heal himself. Many evil wizards sought out others with those powers because of their rarity and value. However his sister, Rosette, was not invited to be adopted because her powers had not been discovered yet, and because it could be dangerous to her. Joshua accepted this, only so that he would be the one to protect Rosette and not the other way around this time.

One day, Joshua accidently hexed the entire orphanage (except Rosette, who was somewhere else). He was taken away by the Ministry of Magic, but soon after was taken by some of the newly formed Death Eaters. He was retrived again by the Ministry of Magic soon after, though he had lost all memory of his childhood, including his sister Rosette (though he remember having an older sister in general). He was sent to Durmstrang for his first 4 years, and has just transferred to Hogwarts in the middle of his 4th year because it was one of the safest places in the wizarding world - more Death Eaters had joined and were looking for him.

As far a Joshua knows, he thinks the only reason he is going to Hogwarts is because his sister is somewhere there, and there is no one after him. The Ministry often sends members to check up on him and make sure he's not only safe, but healthy as well. He always carries around various medicines, all necessary for him to stay healthy, and all taken very often. There are however many secrets he has kept to himself and the minstry......

Since his childhood, Joshua has always been a very unstable and fragile boy. He has an unidentifiable chronic illness that becomes worse every time he uses his powers ( the non-wand healing magic). He used to be a very noble boy whose dream was to protect his older sister and become an explorer with her.

Not only physically, but he is mentally and emotionally unstable, and can become quite obsessive at times. Because of his short time with the Death Eaters, he seemed to also have a weak sense of right and wrong.

Hokuto Umeda: Met him when he first transferred from Durmstrang to Hogwarts, he liked him as soon as he met him and was quickly seduced by him, continuing to meet him in secret afterwards. It still remains a secret.

Asuka Langley Soryhu: The two were love-potioned on Valentine's Day, where they shared a few kisses, and continued to after the potion had worn off. They've been fairly close, telling each other slightly personal things, talking often, and even spending most of the summer together. Spent a lot of time fussing over him when they were both quarantined with Karin Kurosaki with a variant strain of flu.

Karin Kurosaki: After visiting her and Asuka when they were sick, he himself caught the variant strain of flu and stayed in quarantine with them. She has a crush on him. dropped
